Dubliners - Liberty Classics

Kitap Hakkında

A new, musical language following the characters’ flow of thoughts; unforgettable portraits set in Dublin at the beginning of the 20th century: the collection Dubliners not only is a fascinating literary experience but also offers a deep historical insight into the Irish society of the time. In Joyce’s own words, the book was written as “a chapter of the moral history” of Ireland, with Dublin as “the centre of paralysis”. The author takes the reader into the minds of characters whose weaknesses may be typical of 1903 Dubliners, but are even more interesting because they allow him to explore human nature. This edition is specially tailored to the needs of English learners and contains the original text with numerous explanatory notes, an introduction, the keywords to understand each story and several activities.   (Tanıtım Bülteninden)
